Teaching Personnel have been approached by a “good” primary school in the BL3 area as they are currently looking to recruit for an experienced and dedicated EYFS Teacher from April 2025 until the end of the academic year, on a full-time basis (Tuesday 22nd April – Friday 18th July). At this school, they place great emphasis on creating a positive learning environment in which all of their pupils have the capacity to thrive and they have stressed the need for the successful candidate to have excellent knowledge of the Early Years curriculum, as well as a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
As an EYFS Teacher, you will play an important role in delivering the curriculum and enhancing the children’s learning experiences.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering your own lessons each day.
- Marking and assessing the pupils’ work in order to track their progress and then deliver this feedback to parents/guardians
- Giving your pupils the support and guidance they need to meet their goals (particular focus on working towards the phonics screener)
- Managing behaviour in a classroom setting in line with the school’s behaviour policy and safeguarding measures.
- Creating and sustaining a positive learning environment based on support in which your pupils can thrive.
Applicants must have a QTS and be a dedicated educational professional who is passionate about helping children fulfil their potential and meet academic goals. You will have exemplary communication skills and possess the ability to work both on your own and as part of a wider team. Previous experience in a similar role is desired but not essential.
