Do you enjoy account management in a fast-paced environment? If so, read on…
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage the ongoing performance of FM contracts, from both a service and financial perspective. This account is for 2 regional clients based in the West Midlands and you'll be managing the relationship between the client and contractors, ensuring the performance of the contractor is inline with the contract needs such as KPIs, SLAs, budget etc. You'll be accountable for any extra spend on the contract ensuring that the budget isn't exceeded, that estimates are reviewed and processed within a timely manner and that the client is getting the best value for money from the estimates submitted.
It'll be challenging with the fast-pace and high volume of contracts and work orders, but it'll be second nature to you with your experience and ability to manage and prioritise activities. It'll be imperative you understand the client's priorities to keep their estate running and it'll be rewarding to see the difference you've made and the positive impact this has on the client.
You'll be proactive, resilient and able to 'hit the ground running', with exceptional interpersonal skills. You'll have the ability to work collaboratively with the client and other departments. Whilst the role can be demanding and challenging, you'll be able to deal with the pressure and any push-back with ease. You'll be forward thinking in terms of thinking creatively and outside of the box at times, in order to manage the contracts effectively.
You'll currently be working within a similar contract management role, within a building construction or retail position. You'll have hands-on experience in dealing with high volumes of data and information at a fast-paced level.
Reporting directly into the Business Unit Leader, you'll be working 40 hours a week across Mon - Fri, with a degree of flexibility due to business requirements.
