Key Responsibilities You will be working for a very experienced manager who will guide and develop you in the role and beyond. Here is some of the things you will be doing: Compile and manage the contract file for the project. Establish and maintain clear and concise communication with customers ensuring customer confidence. Attend regular meetings with the client. Formulate and control the contract programme. Manage the finances of the contract including budget control and invoicing. Control the requisitioning of materials and services required for the contract. Coordinate the activities of the various departments, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure the contract demands are met and that time and cost targets are achieved. Coordinate the site activities to ensure that the contract demands, including health and safety, are met. Provide regular updates to senior management and shareholders on contract progress. Promote the company image in a positive fashion. What we are looking for: Initiative to manage projects independently whilst maintaining a strong team ethic The ability to gather knowledge of relevant legal regulations including health and safety. Microsoft office experience including word, excel and project. Experience in working with engineering drawings. The ability to work within budgets and deadlines. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline. Proven experience in project management within an engineering context. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Some site visits may be required so your own transport must be in place.
