We are looking for a professional to join our Company Secretarial Team. The role is flexible on locations around our JC offices however Edinburgh or Glasgow is preferred. As a Company Secretarial Assistant, you'll play a key role in ensuring a seamless Company Secretarial service working closely with both clients and colleagues. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities including client service, data management and internal compliance such as engagement letters, AML and billing. Job Purpose: You will support the onboarding of new clients, reviewing company details to ensure accuracy and smooth integration to our systems. You'll also monitor the use of our Registered Office services through monthly reporting. Beyond internal operational tasks, you will be directly involved in assisting with annual Confirmation Statement filings at Companies House, liaising with clients and ensuring deadlines are met. You will learn our Company Secretarial processes, handling filings at Companies House and maintaining statutory registers using specialised software. About You: Experience in a company secretarial role is not essential as full training will be given Subject to performance, we would require someone who has a willingness to embark on either a Paralegal qualification in Company Law or the CGI Certificate in Company Secretarial and Share Registration Practice, both self-study courses which last between 9 – 12 months Ability to take initiative as you'll have the opportunity to identify ways to enhance operational efficiency and contribute to exciting internal projects Confident communication skills with the ability to positively impact and influence others Excellent attention to detail and willingness to learn Proficient in Microsoft office including Outlook, Word and Excel Demonstrates a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting changing needs and priorities Why JC?
