The role of Finance Manager will suit someone who has a strong set of financial skills gained by either having achieved the AAT qualification, with minimum 5 years' experience in accounting and payroll at a senior level. You will be managing the company's financial and wage transactions.
Familiarity with Sage Accounting & Payroll software would be highly advantageous alongside very good working knowledge of Excel.

Duties Will Include:
1. Processing weekly/fortnightly/monthly payrolls using bespoke industry related software
2. RTI submissions, P45s, P60s, P11Ds
3. Processing starters & leavers
4. Pension Scheme Administration
5. Compliance with payroll regulations
6. Addressing payroll related inquiries and issues
7. Full range of Purchase and Sales Ledger duties, including Credit Control
8. Quarterly VAT submissions
9. Preparation of weekly sales reports
10. Period income and expense recognition by preparing and posting general ledger journal entries and adjusting entries
11. Maintaining petty cash balances
12. Recording credit card transactions
13. Processing and monitoring expense forms
14. Regular bank account reconciliations
15. Monitoring and maintaining the weekly cashflow
16. Liaising with our external accountant regularly to provide the financial information required
17. Producing monthly management accounts
18. Analysing and communicating variances to the Director
19. Reporting to the Director to communicate the financial position of the company
20. Stay updated on best practices in payroll and financial management
Pay:
