An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contract Administrator with 2 years experience with contracts management and NEC4 clauses to join a well-established construction company.
This full-time role offers salary range of £40,000 - £60,000 and excellent benefits.
As a Contract Administrator, you will manage contracts and provide legal guidance, liaising with various teams to streamline processes and maintain robust stakeholder relations.
You will be responsible for:
1. Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts to align with organisational and legal standards.
2. Managing a structured database of contracts for efficient access and retrieval.
3. Collaborating with internal teams to gather information and facilitate contract preparation and execution.
4. Monitoring contract performance and compliance, addressing any issues or discrepancies.
5. Conducting regular contract audits to verify adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
6. Assisting in the development of contract templates and standard procedures for consistent contract management.
What we are looking for:
1. Previously worked as a Contract Administrator, Contact Support Administrator, Commercial Manager or in a similar role within a corporate setting.
2. A Quantity Surveyor with experience in contracts management may be considered.
3. At least 2 years of experience with contracts management, NEC4 clauses and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
4. An understanding of the structure, terms, and application of NEC and JCT contracts, including how they govern project management, risk allocation, and dispute resolution.
5. Knowledge of contract law and related legal terminology.
6. Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
7. Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational & communication skills.
