We are currently recruiting for aRegistered Nurse Associate to join our multi-disciplinary inpatient team at Cotswold House in Marlborough. This is an excellent opportunity for a registered nurse with experience working in the care setting and a good knowledge of eating disorders who are looking to build their skillset and grow their knowledge further.
The successful candidate should be enthusiastic, resourceful and caring, they should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. They will need to demonstrate a good awareness of mental health and knowledge of Eating Disorders.

Main duties of the job
As a member of the nursing team you will be expected to demonstrate attitudinal competences through a professional, approachable and helpful manner towards patients, their families and carers, visitors and colleagues throughout the organisation.
You are also expected to actively support high standards of care delivery and challenge poor practice should you find it.

The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
1. Engage proactively with patients and their families/carers/significant others to build positive working alliances.
2. Participate in the monitoring of service users mental health, physical health and well-being including escalation of interventions when necessary and using physical health skills and obtaining specimens as directed.
3. Assist with the implementation and monitoring of clinical care and monitor outcomes
4. Contribute to and interpret care plans and risk assessments accurately and consistently.
5. Work to develop effective multidisciplinary relationships through skilled communication with the ward and community teams.
6. Participate in co-facilitation of a wide range of therapeutic groups and activities.
