There is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Executive Assistant (EA) who can work well as part of a dynamic team to join Mid Cheshire NHS Foundation Trust to provide support for our executive leaders.
Based in the executive office at Leighton Hospital, this role provides an opportunity to showcase skills in communications and innovative thinking. We are seeking people who are keen to play an ambassadorial role in the absence of the executives you support, whilst working closely with senior management and external partner organisations.
You will have ideally supported at an Executive Assistant or senior secretarial/administrative level before and be able to demonstrate your flexibility, approachability and professionalism in all you do. You will have exceptional skills across all office applications as well as interest in driving forward digital innovation. Experience of working in a highly confidential environment is desirable.
Salary range: Band 5

Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide a comprehensive and confidential Executive Assistant service to the Executive Directors, Non-Executive Directors and Executive Office Team including the handling of routine and non-routine duties. The post holder will have delegated authority and responsibility to act independently. The Executive Assistant will be expected to organise their workload and co-ordinate their activities in conjunction with and supervised by the Executive Office Manager to ensure that an efficient service is provided. It is essential that the post holder can exercise initiative suitable to the role and is fully supportive to other colleagues in the Executive Office team.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
To work closely with the Executive Directors and their deputies, Executive Office Manager and Executive Assistants, across all aspects of their work to ensure a complete understanding of their workload. This will include drafting letters, emails and co-ordinating responses with minimum supervision and guidance, managing electronic diaries, emails, day to day telephone queries and incoming post in a way that is responsive to their needs and contributes to the effectiveness of their role.
