Role
We’re looking for a creative communicator to celebrate and connect our thriving network.
The Communications Manager develops and manages our communications strategy, enabling us to grow as an organisation, and share our impact. We seek someone who can manage our digital channels, including our new website, nurture our narrative and messaging across projects, and pour energy into day-to-day communications, administration and planning. This is a busy, part-time role that requires enthusiasm, diligence and creativity.
We are a small, friendly team who care passionately about arts and culture in rural Scotland. We encourage live performances of the highest level and support people as promoters, performers and audiences to create vibrant places to live, work and visit.
You will be based at home, ideally within our region (in the Highlands & Islands, Argyll & Bute, Perthshire or Moray) with the opportunity to meet regularly with other team members at locations and times that are mutually agreeable. You may be asked to travel to other locations to fulfil the requirements of this post.
Salary: £30,000 plus £2,000 work-at-home allowance, pro-rata
Scope: Part-time (0.6)
Period: From April 2025
Hours: 21 hours per week core hours between 9am and 5pm. Flexible working necessary with time off in lieu policy in place.
Holidays: 30 days per annum, inclusive of public holidays, pro-rata plus a shutdown over Christmas and New Year, for which all staff members receive an additional two week’s leave, out with their usual holiday leave.
Pension: An automatic enrolment pension scheme is in operation with NEST Ethical Fund.
