An opportunity to join a Global Civil Engineering contractor with a UK turnover of more than £50 million. Abatec is working with an industry leader in delivering major infrastructure projects in North Wales, in the recruitment of a permanent Bid Manager. Based in Swindon, our client requires a Bid Manager with a Civil Engineering background to join their Pre-Construction team and support PQQ and Tenders.
As a Bid Manager you will:
1. Drive success and achievement within the Pre-Construction team.
2. Evaluate strategies and resources, enhancing the performance of the team.
3. Manage tender documentation.
4. Complete PQQs.
5. Track bid/tender releases.
6. Regularly liaise with the senior management team.
7. Deliver proposals to deadlines.
Our client requires a Bid Manager with:
1. HND/Degree qualified (ideally).
2. Experience of working within the Civil Engineering sector (preferred).
3. Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
4. Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
Salary/Benefits:
1. Up to £85,000 per annum.
2. Match up to 8% pension.
3. 25 days annual leave + 8 days bank holiday.
4. Health Cash Plan.
