Job Description
Founded by Sir Samuel Brighouse in the 1870s and based in Southport ever since, Brighouses is a friendly, progressive, and broad-discipline law firm.
We are currently seeking an experienced wills and probate lawyer with at least 3 years post-qualified experience or equivalent experience possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must be able to work with minimal support and supervision and be confident in generating your letters and documents. Your strong organisational and time management abilities will enable you to manage your caseload and correspondence effectively.
This is a permanent full-time position, and the candidate must work Monday to Friday 09:00 am to 05:00 pm.
Main responsibilities:
As a Probate Lawyer, you will be responsible for various duties, including drafting wills, advising clients on estate planning, and managing a caseload of probate matters. Your experience and knowledge of LPAs, wills, probate, and trusts will be essential in this role. Additionally, you will need to have a working knowledge of conveyancing concerning probate, and the ability to use software such as Microsoft Word efficiently.
