Job Summary:
The Position holder is responsible for the analytics of the HSE indicators, functions as a coordinator for Minerva, for the key HSE data and processes and assists in implementing our Schlumberger SAFE program. Successful Position holders are excellent communicators, enjoy solving problems, and work well in teams.
This internship will allow you to have a general understanding of the SLB business in Europe and immerse yourself in the day-to-day life of an HSE professional.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
* with the HSE team in Minerva to identify and define process improvements in terms of Injury Prevention, Driving and contractor management.
* with day-to-day HSE data using internal HSE standard and systems to extract and provide key information to team members and management.
* in visualizing the key HSE data and driving actions to improve business targets
* cross-functional business units including Supply chain and HR in the onboarding process for the HSE critical suppliers and contractors
* to and promoting SLB HSE Standards and procedures.
* activities to support compliance with health and safety reporting requirement
* with administration of HSE records
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Master in an Engineering discipline, Business Management or Occupational Health
A qualification in occupational Health & Safety, minimum standard of NEBOSH General Certificate is a plus
You are fluent in English and possess strong IT skills
MS Office Suite, Excel, Visual Basic ...
You are keen to learn, motivated to take on new challenges and have a good analytical skill
Valid right to work status in the UK is required for the whole duration of this assignment.
