Excellent opportunity opens for an IT Delivery Manager/IT Service Delivery Manager from an IT Operations background to join a growing Bank in a crucial role. You will be responsible for owning all IT change from initial demand through to delivery and ultimately handover to BAU. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with the priorities set. The IT Delivery Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering IT change, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Service Design
* Establish, operate and chair the IT Demand board, assessing new demand, prioritising all demand and reporting progress of current change.
* Establish and operate the bank's IT Service Design processes.
Service Transition
* Define change scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
* Develop detailed plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
* Ensure compliance with IT governance, security policies, and industry regulations.
* Manage risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring prompt resolution to avoid delays.
* Manage the delivery of all IT change to BAU, including the management of resources (direct and indirect line management).
* Ensure resources and changes are prioritised and delivered to agreed timelines.
* Ensure IT services and solutions meet agreed-upon service levels and architectural standards.
* Own Transition documentation and process procedures, working with and building relationships across the business.
Service Operation
* Assess and evaluate all proposed changes to IT services and infrastructure to identify potential impacts and risks.
* Chair and manage Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, facilitating the evaluation and approval of changes both internal and external.
* Ensure the change management process is maintained and communicated to all stakeholders.
* Manage the Forward Schedule of Change, Demand management, Capacity planning and IT Change Calendar.
* Introduce new and mature existing processes to improve how the Bank manages IT change.
* Continually improve the IT change management process and the ITSM tool(s) with the Head of IT Operations and IT Security Manager.
* Identify and create Standard Operating Procedures and Process documentation.
Management Reporting
* Establish repeatable management reporting of IT Change to the bank's committees.
* Deliver regular status updates, meetings, and reports to keep all stakeholders informed.
* Manage and deliver evidence and responses to internal and external audit and assurance activities.
* Allocate resources efficiently across projects and operational demands.
* Other tasks related to IT Change at the discretion of the Head of IT Operations.
* Out-of-hours work and participation in the on-call policy will be required, including BAU escalation support and when projects and major changes go live.
