We are seeking an experienced MASH Manager to join the team at Tameside. The Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) plays a critical role in screening all Children’s Social Care referrals, offering a single point of access for concerns about child safety and well-being. Their ethos centres around providing the “right support at the right time,” following a restorative model.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the MASH team, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
2. Screen and assess referrals, prioritizing cases based on risk and need.
3. Collaborate with partner agencies to gather relevant information and make informed decisions.
4. Provide supervision and support to Senior and Experienced Social Workers.
5. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team.
Requirements:
6. Experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably within a MASH setting.
7. Strong leadership skills and an understanding of how performance impacts outcomes for children and young people.
8. Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
9. Social Work qualification and registration with the relevant professional body.
