The purpose of the shared services model is to provide the Schools with high quality business and customer service, whilst ensuring continuous delivery and effective and efficient use of resources. We are inviting applications for the newly created role of: IT Technical Services Manager The role The IT Technical Services Manager has a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day management of the Shared Service Information Technology Department. Some of the key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to: Providing technical leadership to the IT teams across multiple locations including the provision of high level of technical guidance, support and ongoing staff technical development. Providing expert technical knowledge on a wide range of technologies and applications and action accordingly. Monitoring and managing the cyber security risk profile and implement measures to mitigate cyber risks. Building productive relationships in order to be able to effectively partner with internal stakeholders to provide advice, support and guidance on IT matters and to positively manage third-party vendors. Keeping up to date with industry trends and best practices and making recommendations for continuous development and improvement. About You You will be an experienced and knowledgeable IT professional who is able to confidently balance providing a high-level of technical support with managing the day-to-day operations of a multi-site IT team. You will bring: Extensive experience in IT management including managing IT teams. Experience in an educational setting would be highly valued. Superior technical skills including, but not limited to, network management, systems security, IT infrastructure experience covering service desk ticketing, escalations and end-to-end ICT support. A proactive approach to problem solving in an everchanging technical landscape. The ability to build strong relationships in order to be able to effectively manage a diverse range of services across stakeholders across multiple locations.
