Health and Safety Advisor £28,000 - £35,000 Kidderminster, Worcestershire Full-time The Role: In this role, you'll support and advise staff at all levels, assisting the Operations Manager in upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and employee welfare. Health and Safety Advisor Duties: Review and update the company's Health and Safety Policy, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations. Address potential or actual environmental impacts from operations across different business units. Assist with accident investigations, implementing corrective actions, and providing guidance on incident reporting. Assess third-party suppliers and subcontractors to ensure they meet our safety standards. Ensure all new starters are properly inducted and aware of their SHEQ responsibilities. Deliver toolbox talks to managers and team leaders as needed. Maintain ISO accreditation by working towards annual objectives and targets, and ensure all procedures are audited. Manage and monitor the Group's waste transfer process. Assist with insurance, quality surveillance audits, and any related tasks. Health and Safety Advisor Requirements: Thorough understanding of Company and Health & Safety policies. A working knowledge of UK Health and Safety Law and upcoming changes.
