Job Title: Trade Compliance Analyst Contract Duration: 6 Months (with potential extension) Working Hours: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week) Location: Remote (occasional on-site presence required) On-site Locations: Daventry, Darlington, or Huddersfield (once every 2-3 weeks) Compensation: PAYE Rate: £15.39 per hour About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Trade Compliance Analyst to join our dynamic Customs and Trade Compliance team. Key Responsibilities: Conduct research and execute processes to ensure compliance with customs or export control regulations. Analyse shipping, logistics, and transport data to draw actionable conclusions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders on trade operations and compliance initiatives. Utilise spreadsheets (Excel) to manage data, leveraging functions such as VLOOKUP and filters. Take initiative in problem-solving and proactively seek assistance when required. Preferred Experience and Skills: Experience in shipping, logistics, or transport (advantageous but not essential). Proficiency in Excel (ability to manage and analyze data). Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Solid IT proficiency, including MS Office, email, and calendar management. Familiarity with business operations and systems (a plus but not required). Key Requirements: Excellent communication skills. Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
