About the Role
An exciting opportunity available within MHST as an EMHP Leader
We are looking for someone who will take an innovative approach to leading their colleagues to imbed a Whole School Approach within MHST educational settings across Nottingham City.
The position would require you to maintain a full individual caseload, lead Whole School Approaches within an allocated locality team, maintain engagement and contact with schools who are WSA only, develop a range of workshops, assemblies, group work resources, teachers training etc. and facilitate MHST’s presence at community events to raise awareness of Children and Young people’s Mental Health in schools. As an EMHP Leader, you will have a responsibility to not only deliver Whole School Approaches yourself but identify and support practitioners within your locality team to deliver or co deliver WSA’s to a high level and with confidence.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
· ESSENTIAL Requirements for this role:
1. Successful completion of the HEE commissioned 1yr ‘Education Mental Health Practitioner’ or Child Wellbeing Practitioner’ course.
2. Experience working in effective, evidence-based partnership with children, young people, their families and their educators in the development of plans for the intervention and agreed outcomes and delivering training, courses and workshops to a diverse and potentially large audience.
3. Strong understanding and practical experience of the case management process including assessment, analysis, planning and intervention and review and how it promotes good outcomes for children and families.
4. Able to develop good professional relationships with colleagues within educational and child and adolescent mental health services
5. The ability to confidently deliver workshops, training and assemblies to a large audience of people, motivate a team of colleagues to drive high quality performance and standards across the service, offer peers support and advice to colleagues as an EMHP Lead to imbed confidence and a “can do attitude and maintain accurate timetables to ensure Whole School Approaches are delivered punctually and professionally across MHST providers.
6. Have a high level of enthusiasm and motivation with regards to own work and empowering others.
7. Hold excellent organisational and self-management skills. The ability to role model these skills to team mates within the locality group.
