Position: CUSTOMER SERVICES MANAGER
Location: Oxford, Botley
Salary: £33,000 - £36,000
Our client is a building services company looking for a Customer Service Manager to support the customer care team. You and your team will be responsible for supporting clients and customers with building services queries and advice.
The role:
The main purpose of the role is to support your team in ensuring excellent service is given to all customers across various channels. This role is office-based, Monday to Friday.
Main responsibilities:
1. Act as escalation point for customer complaints and queries.
2. Monitor, evaluate, and advise on team training, providing guidance and development plans for all team members.
3. Provide customer support, investigating and resolving issues as quickly as possible.
4. Work closely with other departments to ensure company goals are met and alignment across departments.
5. Develop and implement customer service policies, procedures, and standards to ensure quality and consistency.
6. Build professional and excellent relationships with new and existing customers.
7. Answer calls in a professional and courteous manner, always delivering excellent customer service.
8. Organize and manage customer records and data.
9. Ensure all processes are followed and completed accurately.
About you:
We are looking for someone who has previous management experience in a similar environment/working sector. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills as well as the ability to work with customers and build strong relationships.
You should be able to work well within a team environment to ensure company goals are met and your team works towards the same standards. A passion for excellent customer service is a must, as well as remaining upbeat and enthusiastic at all times.
Required:
1. Previous management experience in a customer service or similar setting.
2. Excellent telephone manner.
3. Positive and self-motivated with a 'can-do' attitude.
4. Good IT skills, Outlook + Excel.
5. Strong prioritization skills.
Due to the location of the client, your own transport would be desirable.
Commutable locations: Abingdon, Didcot, Wallingford, Oxford, Bicester, Wantage, Witney.
