Our client is a family business that has been trading for over half a century. They specialize in selling and serving market-leading machinery within the counties of Worcestershire and Herefordshire.
As the business continues to expand, we are pleased to be supporting them with a vacancy for an Office Administrator at their Worcester branch. This role requires liaising with customers over the phone, by email, and in-person; therefore, excellent communication is essential. You will provide general administrative and office support, be able to deal competently with service enquiries, providing quotes to customers as required, as well as giving friendly and courteous information where necessary.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Taking calls from customers regarding orders placed online and updating notes on the internal website portal.
* Communicating across all depots to ensure customers' orders are processed efficiently and accurately.
* Using the online chat facility to talk to customers through the website, providing advice on machines, parts, and delivery details of orders.
* Data entry ensuring a high level of accuracy.
* Online registration of machines.
* Responding to enquiries.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Computer literate, with previous working experience of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Must work well within a small team environment.
* Experience is essential.
* Willingness to learn is essential.
* Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm.
* Required to work some Saturdays in peak season.
