My client is a leading energy company operating throughout the UK and overseas. Due to continued expansion, they have a vacancy in the North East for a CHP Field Engineer to join their team. The successful CHP Field Engineer will ideally be based in York/Leeds or close surrounding areas and will provide support to the Operations team providing guidance and support during breakdowns. CHP Field Engineer Requirements: Have proven experience of working with engines and a recognised Mechanical Engineering qualification to Level 3. Extensive knowledge of gas engines/generators particularly CAT, Perkins, MAN or MWM. Strong knowledge and experience of mechanical and electrical maintenance. Proven fault finding and diagnostic skills. Able to work on own initiative. Experience of working with AC/DC control panels. Ability to take part in a callout rota. Flexible approach to travel and staying away from home overnight occasionally. IT Literate. Hold full UK driving licence. CHP Field Engineer Benefits: Annual salary of £41,600 OTE £48K. Monday to Friday – 40 hours. Company van, mobile phone, laptop, uniform and PPE provided. Overtime and callout payments. Additional payments for gaining certifications/qualifications up to £3,500 per annum. Annual performance related bonus. 25 days holiday rising with service plus bank holidays rising with service.
