Salary: £29,000 - £30,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Painter they will be responsible for the preparation and application of paint tooling.
* Preparation of surfaces ready for paint spraying of tooling to specification
* Report any defects to the relevant team
* Ensure the correct shot blasting surface finish is applied.
* Responsible for ensuring that paint to be applied complies with the paint specification sheet
* Ensure all surfaces have been evenly painted and that there are no misses.
* General workshop duties including the good housekeeping of the paint spray area.
* Operate and maintenance of sand blast equipment.
Key Skills
* Proven knowledge and experience in paint spraying
* Previous experience using hand-held tools.
* Ability to read and understand build instruction manuals to ensure products conform to specific
* dimensions and meet required standards.
* FLT experience is desirable.
* Some previous mechanical/manufacturing knowledge would be advantageous.
* Valid driving licence and passport.(Essential)
* Willingness to travel within the UK if required
