Production Electrician
Chandlers Ford / Full time – Monday – Friday (40 hours per week)
£up to 42k DOE
Meridian Business Support (Eastleigh) are recruiting for a Production Electrician for our client in Chandlers Ford (Hampshire).
The main purpose of the role will be to build and test pump assemblies, perform electrical duties, and ensure top-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
Chassis Assembly:
Assemble kits, fit components, and align assemblies using shims if needed.
Perform tasks like fitting pump ends, engines, motors, and fuel lines.
Testing and Finishing:
Conduct operational tests, check for leaks, and apply final labels and stickers.
Electrical Wiring:
Connect engine looms, control panels, and safety devices.
Manage single and three-phase supply connections.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the Production Team, maintaining communication and teamwork.
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
- IEE 18th Edition Qualification.
- ECS Gold Card or equivalent qualifications.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
- Self-motivated and team-oriented.
Preferred:
- Time-served Electrical Apprenticeship.
- Experience with overhead cranes and hoists.
