Straight Day Shift.
I am currently working with an award-winning presswork business based in Redditch. They have a requirement for a Quality Inspector to join their existing Quality team on a fixed term contract to cover long term sickness. Based on the shop floor, and reporting directly to the Inspection Team Leader, the Quality Inspector will be responsible for:
Conducting inspections of stampings and assemblies using standard visual inspection equipment.
Creating and follow inspection plans based on engineering drawings.
Identify deviations and non-conformances.
Generating detailed inspection reports documenting findings and recommendations.
Identifying potential quality issues and proactively suggest corrective actions.
Participating in the continuous improvement of quality control processes.
Communicating effectively with production personnel and engineers regarding inspection results. The ideal candidate for the Quality Inspector role will have:
A good knowledge of inspection equipment.
The ability to read engineering drawings.
Preferably have previous experience in a similar role from within an Aerospace or Automotive environment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of the requirements of ISO9001, AS9100 AND NADCAP. In return the Quality Inspector can expect to receive a competitive salary, dependent upon experience, and free onsite parking. The working hours for this role are on a straight day shift, which are: 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday, and 08:00 – 13:00 Friday.
