An older person living in the Loughborough area requires support with enhancing their life through social interaction and meal preparation assistance. Role Requirements You will be required to provide support with: meal preparation and cooking - the client enjoys plain home-cooked foods accessing the community As the client is partially deaf, you must be able to speak clearly. You must also have a full clean UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle as you will be required to transport the client when accessing the community. Mileage will be paid by the client. This opportunity is suited for someone who is responsible, reliable, patient, and proactive with good communication skills. Genuine applicants only please. They have been diagnosed with: lower back pain sciatica weight loss hand tremors which affects their dexterity a visual impairment - The client has double vision which is worse in the morning; their eyes are sensitive to light which can cause migraines so the client wears sunglasses. They also have dry eyes for which they have eye drops. The eye conditions can cause issues with sleeping. a hearing impairment - The client wears hearing aids; their hearing is worse in their left ear. They also experiences tinnitus. There are no pets at the property.
