Job Description

Historic England has a fantastic opportunity for you to join us as our National Projects Coordinator.
This is a Full Time, Permanent post.
The location of this role is National where we offer hybrid working, you will be based in one of our following offices and from home: Newcastle, York, Manchester, Birmingham, Swindon, Bristol, Portsmouth (Fort Cumberland) and Cambridge.

What You Will Be Doing: As our National Projects Coordinator, you will contribute to the running of the Programmes Department, which has responsibility for managing major programmes and projects of organisationally significant areas of work. Programmes sit in the Business Improvement Group, a dynamic part of Historic England (HE) that ensures HE is an adaptable, fundable, and sustainable organisation that delivers for heritage by facilitating joined up working, inspiring, challenging and equipping people, nurturing innovation and productivity, managing grant spend and growing income. This role involves working closely with Project and Programme Managers at all levels within Historic England to provide project, programme, and administrative support.
Who We Are Looking For:
* Experience of supporting projects with a range of techniques and approaches.
* Excellent admin and IT skills including knowledge of Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Word, and Excel.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage challenging deadlines.
* Demonstrable experience of flexibility, adaptability, and problem-solving.
* Good written and verbal communication skills and experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.
