A coeducational day school in Bristol with a separate nursery, separate prep school through to main senior school, catering for around 900 students and teachers daily. Our catering offer includes a morning purchased snack, lunch served in the main dining hall, and separate lunch sent to the nursery facility. Additionally, there is a sixth form café serving tea, coffee, pastries, and hot snacks. This location has a good amount of high-end hospitality. The school operates Monday to Friday with catering for match teas only on Saturday. Additional benefits to this location include the use of an on-site gym and free parking facilities.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our established and friendly team at our prestigious location in Bristol.
You will play a significant role in keeping the kitchen hygienic, safe, and up to our high standards of cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
* Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage.
* Be a great team player.
* Assist the Chefs with food prep.
* Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times.
* Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment.
* Clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials, including air filter and extraction systems.
* Operate the industrial dishwasher.
We are looking for:
* Kitchen Porter experience is preferred, but not essential.
* Organizational skills.
* Ability to demonstrate reasonable/good understanding and use of verbal English.
* Ability to demonstrate reasonable/good standard of written English and reading skills.
* Similar experience in a customer and/or food preparation environment is preferred.
