Description:
We are recruiting a Service Advisor on behalf of a very reputable business based in Gloucester.This is a temp to perm position.The purpose of this role is to act as first point of contact for both customers and engineers. We need someone really dynamic and forward thinking. This role requires someone who is organised and efficient, they have demanding clients, breakdowns and emergencies to respond to all over the UK. Daily activities within the Service Department are focused to ensure timely fulfilment of customer needs and to constantly improve the level of customer service provided.
Principal Responsibilities/Duties:
1. Field incoming service requests and technical queries - both telephone and via email
2. Scheduling engineer attendance
3. Communicating with customers - scheduling a large scope of works and supporting fundamental documentation.
4. Promoting the business, building positive relationships and ensuring a positive customer experience
5. Communication with Engineers - confirming workload and issuing reports. Checking parts/stock.
6. Liaising with sub-contractors - placing orders and seeing the job through from start to completion
7. Service support - checking engineer reports prior to issuing to customer. Preparing quotations for remedial works. Completing Sales Orders to ensure prompt invoicing. Creating Proforma invoices and obtaining payment.
