Are you looking for a job where you can really make a difference to people's lives?
This is an exciting opportunity to become involved in the Future4Me Service where we currently have a vacancy in the Restoring Family Relationships Team on a part-time basis (22.2 hrs per week). This role will focus on supporting young people and families to repair relationships, achieve stability and reconciliation, and reduce late entrants into the care system.
About You:
We are looking for individuals that are highly motivated to work with adolescents and their families, using a preventative approach to promote family stability and mitigate the prospect of youth homelessness and youth offending.
Early Help Workers in the Future4Me team act as key workers for families with a range of complex needs; undertaking assessments and delivering and co-ordinating interventions directly to children/young people and their families in a trauma-sensitive way.
As an Early Help Worker, you will be responsible for the completion of Child and Family Assessments, Youth Justice Assessments and Interventions and will be required to act as Lead Professional where appropriate.
Early Help Workers also contribute to holistic family work for children subject to Child Protection and Child in Need Plans and those Looked After by the Local Authority.
Early Help Workers must have excellent communication skills as they advocate for and champion adolescents with partner agencies including education, health, and housing.
You will be dedicated and passionate about helping improve the lives of adolescents with complex needs in Lincolnshire.
About the Role:
We currently have 1 permanent, part-time (3 days per week, 22.2hrs) position located in the Boston Restoring Family Relationships Team, working on a county-wide basis.
You will be responsible for ensuring the needs of children/young people and their families are appropriately assessed using a range of methods, and working with the family and other professionals to produce a planned programme of support to address the issues or concerns in a comprehensive and co-ordinated way.
You will manage and conduct a range of complex assessments and reports and will contribute to the planning and reviewing of cases across a broad variety of practice, from diversionary work to early interventions. You will be required to travel and work in a timely and flexible manner to undertake the duties of the role, and there is some element of evening and weekend work where cases require it.
You will also be required to work on a duty basis for part of the week.
This can be a demanding role; however, it brings great job satisfaction.
About the Team:
Future4Me launched Countywide in February 2019 and brought together the Council's core offer to adolescents by building on the Youth Offending Team, Youth Hub, and Early Help. Focusing on supporting young people aged 14-18, we have a dedicated team with a focus on youth housing, diversion for youth justice, child exploitation, and community interventions as well as our Complex Health Team.
Future4Me operates on a County-wide basis and focuses on multi-agency working, using Trauma Informed Practice and Restorative Principles to deliver a package of support.
What you can expect from us:
You will receive an in-depth induction, a managed caseload, regular case supervision, and ongoing training.
We offer a number of great benefits which include a competitive salary, an excellent pension, a car lease scheme, flexible working conditions, and much more.
Should you wish to have an informal discussion about the roles, please contact Frankie Hallas on 07500 573376.
Please note that interviews will be held face-to-face on 12/03/2025.
