Job Summary:
Albida are recruiting for a talented and enthusiastic Workday Financials Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will implement, configure, and optimise Workday Financials solutions for clients. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Workday Financials, business processes and best practices, with multiple end-to-end deployments completed, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead or assist in the implementation of Workday Financials, collaborating closely with other consultants to gather requirements and configure solutions.
* Partner with clients to understand their business needs and provide functional expertise, ensuring that Workday solutions are aligned with their objectives.
* Evaluate current financial processes and propose improvements through the adoption of Workday best practices.
* Provide functional expertise for legacy data conversion during deployment and optimisation.
* Perform testing and troubleshooting to ensure system effectiveness.
* Support end-users with inquiries and issues related to Workday Finance functionality, promoting user acceptance.
* Contribute to the development and delivery of training sessions for finance teams, ensuring effective system utilization.
* Stay updated with the latest enhancements and features in Workday and recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
* Workday Certification in Record to Report (R2R), Procure to Pay (P2P) or Contracts to Cash (C2C) – additional certifications are desirable.
* 3+ years of experience in Workday Financials.
* A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Technology or other related field is preferred.
* Knowledge of key financial processes and accounting principles.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently.
