We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Specialist Occupational Therapist (Band 7) to join our esteemed client base in the vibrant city of London Key Responsibilities: Clinical Duties: Undertake the specialist Occupational Therapy assessment and implementation of therapy interventions of clients with complex physical disabilities as an autonomous practitioner. This includes using analytical, clinical reasoning skills and appropriate outcome measures. Carry out high level clinical decision making within agreed response times, to support A&E four hour targets. Analyse and clinically reason the risk assessment required for the physical moving and handling of complex, dependent patients to further their rehabilitation and the socio-environmental risks associated with rapid discharge home. Position: Specialist Occupational Therapist Band 7 Hours: This position is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week Location: London Dates: Available to start ASAP until 15 November 2024 Pay: Competitive, to be discussed upon application. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Occupational Therapist. Proven experience working as an Occupational Therapist within mental health settings. Sound knowledge of mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families, and colleagues. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
