You will be supporting a diverse set of strategies including both active and index management. We're looking for an Equity Trader to: provide high quality execution services in EMEA equities and ETFs interface with and trade for multiple portfolio management teams collaborate with portfolio managers to develop a clear trade strategy, including cost forecasting, trade construction, and trade sizing provide value-added commentary on security price action, market movements and macro themes. provide oversight of transaction costs and operational risks across all macro securities support the sales and client service mandates in the region ensure the trading desk is compliant and follows all market regulations be self-motivated with the aim to drive desk evolution, and interested in broadening their role into other asset classes develop and maintain essential external relationships as required for achieving the best client outcome Join us At UBS, we embrace flexible ways of working when the role permits. Your expertise 4 years of relevant trading experience in cash equities or equity derivatives. knowledge of capital markets and asset management, as well as, market structure, broker access and regulations understanding of industry trade execution capabilities and analytical tools knowledge of local market structure and regulatory landscape effective communication skills to work with diverse stakeholders and drive decision making ability to work under pressure within a complex organization detail-oriented with an ability to multi-task Bachelor's or higher degree.
