My client is well established fabrication company. Based in Newton Aycliffe, they have seen year on year success, with further growth and investment plans for 2024/25. They offer a range of products, which are supplied across the globe. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Estimator to join their team on a Permanent basics.
This opportunity gives An Estimator the chance to work with one of the most respected companies in the North East. They offer not only an excellent package, but more importantly in today's world, job security.
Key Accountabilities
* Preparing proposals for our products and services
* Maintaining and updating the product database
* Preparing proposals for our products and services
* Costing material, labour, and production costs and liaising with external suppliers
* Working with the technical team to provide product education to our customers on what is achievable to suit their project and budget needs.
* Strive to build long term relationships with both new and existing customers and suppliers.
* Taking ownership of the estimate, actively bringing it to a conclusion (contract award, loss etc) & seeking feedback from Client were applicable
Minimum Requirements
* Previous experience in an estimating role
* Attention to details and methodical thinker.
* Effective communicator
* Steel / Aluminium Fabrication desirable but not essential, however must have and understanding
* Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
