We are looking for volunteer administrators to support our Investigation Teams at Wray Park, Reigate.
Typically, we will need your support for six to eight hours a week between 09:00 and 16:00 Monday to Friday (hours will be dependent on the Investigation Team you join).
The Role & Key Responsibilities
From your first day with us you will be part of a policing family making a real difference.
This role will give you the opportunity to volunteer within proactive policing teams alongside officers investigating serious and complex crimes.
You will be involved in a number of tasks within an office environment including:
* Administrative duties such as handling phone queries, collecting and distributing post, ordering office supplies and filing.
* Reviewing crime reports
* Maintaining databases and spreadsheets
Skills & Experience
As a volunteer in this role, you will need to have previous experience in administration, good communication skills and the ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
To be successful, you must be able to use a range of Microsoft programmes including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
You will need to be able to use your time efficiently to organise and prioritise the tasks that are assigned to you.
