About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of our Tier 1 client for an experienced Freelance Planner to join their team for upcoming civil projects in the water sector. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in water or utilities projects, who can bring their expertise to a dynamic and challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for civil projects in the water sector.
2. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines are met.
3. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
4. Prepare regular progress reports and present them to the client and internal teams.
5. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
6. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a planner on water or utilities projects.
2. Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices.
3. Proficiency in project planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications:
1. Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
2. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, APM) are a plus.
