The Siemens Bogie Service Centre (BSC) in Lincoln specialises in the maintenance and overhaul of train bogies, ensuring high-quality, reliable service for various Siemens train models across the UK. We're searching for detail focussed individuals to take on a Service Delivery Project Manager role. In this role, you'll be customer focussed as you oversee and execute Bogie and Wheelset projects across their entire lifecycle. From mobilisation-ensuring all equipment and capacity are in place-to project execution, you'll focus on delivering efficient, high-quality results that meet stringent standards. You'll make an i mpact by Leading the planning and mobilisation of each overhaul project in alignment with our customer's needs, ensuring efficient organisation, control, and delivery from start to finish while meeting cost and quality targets. Managing the mobilisation process, including the specification and setup of special tooling, jigs, fixtures, parts, stock, specialist training, and production capacity planning. Ensuring all parts and bills of materials are identified and available for scheduled overhaul projects, working closely with materials, engineering, and supply chain teams. Implementing and upholding safe systems and controls within your area of responsibility, aligned with Siemens Rail Systems HSQE policies. Actively monitoring compliance with internal procedures, addressing any gaps, and contributing to continuous improvement of cross-functional processes. You'll win us over by Demonstrating experience in fast-track production within industrial manufacturing environments. Bringing a solid foundation in project management and planning, with experience in customer focussed environments. Possessing strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Showcasing expertise in customer management, especially in overseeing and implementing complex projects. Displaying a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive approach, with the capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Holding an HND/Degree level qualification in Engineering or a background in Project Management with APMP or Prince2 certification (or working towards it). Preferred: Rail industry experience is beneficial but not essential. Technical knowledge of mechanical/electrical industrial or rolling stock products and systems, including technical support, manufacturing, workshop planning, and order management systems, will be highly advantageous.
