Ashton Gate Stadium is a unique sports and entertainment business with the core aim of providing integral support services to ensure the sustainability of Stephen Lansdown’s sporting group of companies which includes Bristol Sport, Bristol City, Bristol Bears, Bristol Flyers Basketball and each of their respective community charities.
JOB PURPOSE
To operate Bars across Hospitality areas to include Box level/Restaurant/Players lounge and Heineken (including match days), ensuring all bar operatives follow details provided and adhere to all Stadium Standard operations and Health and safety Procedures at all times. Converting Beverage sales to achieve Budgeted targets.
KEY OBJECTIVES
1. Manage bar to a high standard of service throughout various events within the stadium, focusing on quality of service and guests/client/Fan relationships.
2. Always follow all EHO processes and procedures, completing regular audits and staff quality of work to ensure 5-star compliance at all times.
3. Train all staff on all aspects of the Bar operative role, following SOP guides throughout all work carried out on duty.
4. Always maintain and achieve GP within beverage outlets.
5. Achieve company-based F&B payroll each month.
6. Drive revenue.
7. Ensure client or organisers satisfaction.
8. Provide bar staff training.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead larger team across multiple hospitality bars within Events and match days delivering consistent quality service.
2. Adhere to all Ashton Gate processes and SOP.
3. Manage EHO and health and safety standards in all aspects of work.
4. Train staff and casuals to ensure quality is kept throughout.
5. Manage time effectively, ensuring team productivity and efficiency with all tasks throughout the stadium, making savings where possible to achieve targets.
6. Maintain a constant up-selling strategy per event.
7. Ensure all bars are appropriately merchandised.
8. Follow clear processes for maintaining cellar cleanliness and stock.
9. Perform match day and event bar briefings to team led by Event managers.
10. Set up events on RTS/RMS system.
Health and Safety
* Responsible for ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed at all times, with relevant paperwork to support.
* Ensure all employees complete their training required to do their job.
* Report all incidents and accidents as required.
* Report any hazards detected.
* Complete and review the risk assessments for the department.
