We have a unique opportunity for full-time Bakers to join our Night Bakery Team at our prestigious Ascot Drive Bakery.
Responsibilities
* Understand the fermentation process involved in mixing, shaping and baking of various bread types.
* Demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of machinery and baking processes.
* Work to a high standard in an efficient, clean and tidy manner, observing the highest food hygiene guidelines to meet strict dispatch deadlines.
Shifts
The role is 45 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 nights, with various shift start times. The role will require working 1 in 4 Saturday nights to support our 7-day operation.
Experience
* Ideally, applicants will also have confectionery skills such as creaming, piping and coating.
* Previous bakery experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided for suitable applicants.
4 weeks holiday per year increasing incrementally each year to 5 weeks holiday per year (after 5 years continuous service) plus bank holidays. Staff discount and free on-site parking.
Note: Wage is £629.10 p/w – £670.95 p/w dependent on experience.
