We're looking for an Assistant HR Business Partner to join our Transportation Team based Aylesford. Location : Aylesford, Kent - hybrid working available, with travel to the office and sites as required Hours : 37.5 Hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us What will you be responsible for? As an Assistant HR Business Partner, you'll be working within the Transportation Team, supporting them in providing expert knowlege and skills in people management and development to influence and support the achievement of business strategy, goals and plans within a given business area. Your day to day will include: To partner with line managers and supervisors in Area 4 to resolve day to day issues and to implement good people management practices. Setting high standards of service. To assist in supporting formal grievances and disciplinary situations – assessing risk, supporting line managers with investigations and liaising with relevant members of the divisional HR team and the central HR functions on complex matters Provide best practice and proactive advice to the business - actively manage and advise on absence, long term ill health, liaising with Occupational Health professionals as appropriate. To mediate and negotiate to promote an early resolution to contentious ER matters Provide specialist advice, consulting and partnering for organisational development and business restructuring programmes Support HR Business Partner with Key business projects, restructure, TUPE transfers and change management What are we looking for?
