Senior Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Salary: £25,015.20 - £27,302.30 (FTE £29,120.00 - £31,782.40) ...
Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week, Term-Time Only
Do you have a passion for supporting young people with additional learning needs? We are seeking a committed Senior Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team and make a real difference. If you're dedicated to helping students thrive both academically and personally, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide tailored support to help students excel in their learning and personal development.
2. Assist in delivering interactive and engaging lessons alongside teaching staff.
3. Develop positive relationships with students, ensuring they feel safe, supported, and involved in their education.
4. Track student progress and provide meaningful feedback to encourage growth.
5. Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and student welfare in line with school policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
6. Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher.
7. GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or 4 and above).
8. Previous experience working with SEN, SLD/PMLD, ADHD, and ASD is highly desirable.
9. Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
10. Experience in managing challenging behaviours and promoting an inclusive learning environment.
