Job title : Forklift driver Job type : Temporary - Ongoing Location : Wakefield, WF2 0XR Pay rate: £14.55/ hour, going up to £16.17/ hour after 12 weeks Shift pattern: 3 on 3 off Shift timings : 07:00 - 19:00 or 19:00 - 07:00 (Must be flexible adhering to business requirements) Start date: Immediate Full training will be provided. The eligible candidate must have minimum 6 months experience as a FLT counterbalance driver and an in-date license. Key Responsibilities: To operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries, and move them to and from storage areas. Previous experience using double pallet/load handlers Locating and moving pallets of stock and loading trucks ready for client delivery Maintaining safety and housekeeping standards at all times Reporting on any damages to stock or the vehicle Keep appropriate records and reports to maintain tight inventory control and security. Working safely and on time to achieve productivity targets Moving finished goods around the warehouse using SAP Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety Store the pallets in the ASRS Warehouse Unload vehicles delivering full goods into the ASRS warehouse Some manual handling may be required to rebuild damaged pallets Requirements: Must have a minimum of 6 months experience as a FLT counterbalance driver and an in-date license Recent experience of driving an FLT reach or double handler is mandatory (Preferably loading/unloading experience) Adhering to a Site SOP Physically demanding role - being on feet for longer time Health & safety is really important to our business so we are looking for someone who values and can demonstrate responsible attitude to Health & Safety standards.
