Job Title: Floating Retirement Living Assistant
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £24,627 per annum
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday
Location: Merseyside (with travel across Liverpool, Wirral, Sefton, St Helens, Halton, Knowsley)

The difference you will make as a Floating Retirement Living Assistant
This role is based in Merseyside and involves weekly travel across 6 local authority areas (Liverpool, Wirral, Sefton, St Helens, Halton, Knowsley).
You will act as an initial point of contact via phone and reception, maintaining professionalism and supportiveness, working as part of a team to deliver best practices.
You will assist in delivering comprehensive housing management services for Retirement Living, including tenancy agreements, record keeping, and confidentiality.
About you
We are seeking someone with:
* Experience in a customer-focused environment
* Experience working with vulnerable and/or older people
* Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office

Role Profile:
* Serve as a first point of contact via phone or reception
* Assist with housing management, tenancy agreements
* Maintain secure and confidential records
* Report repairs and monitor service contracts
* Ensure health and safety standards are met and maintained
* Promote customer involvement and communication
* Conduct site inspections for maintenance and cleanliness
* Use IT systems to maintain records
* Follow safeguarding policies and procedures
* Monitor property safety and repair standards
* Work with colleagues to meet KPIs (voids, arrears)
* Travel as needed to cover other schemes
* Uphold Riverside’s Equality and Diversity policies
* Contribute to overall service delivery and personal development
* Perform other relevant duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* Experience in a customer-focused environment
* Experience working with vulnerable and older people
* Flexible and responsive attitude

* Formal care, support, or housing qualification
