Information Security Manager - Swindon Summary INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY PLEASE We’re looking for an inspiring Information Security Manager to lead our Information Security team. We’re continuously improving and securing our information services and take great pride in what we do. In this role you’ll guide business managers, and support the delivery, maintenance, and training of Information Security policies and safeguards. What it's like to work here Sitting as part of our IT Assurance team you’ll be part of a team of dedicated individuals focusing on Commercial, Data Protection, InfoSec, Cyber Projects and Assurance & Risk. Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview. What you'll be doing As the Information Security Manager, you’ll coordinate and inspire the team, evaluate the existing information Security activities across our entire orginisation. You’ll understand the security risk, the controls needed and identify where vulnerabilities can be found. You’ll coordinate and deploy Information Security Policies and standards, maximising the potential of our security portfolio and maturity. You’ll oversee security controls, collaborate with business stakeholders, and advocate for best practices. Your work will help protect us against Information Security threats, through mitigating Information Security risk and expanding our Cyber Security Maturity and Resilience work. Working with security management stakeholders, you’ll adopt and enhance common frameworks, security governance and manage activities and practice needed to maintain PCI DSS compliance. You’ll regularly deliver accurate business Information Security expertise, emphasizing timely advice and intervention, risk management and continuous improvement of embedded Information Security good practice. As part of the IT Extended Leadership team, you’ll collaborate with leaders and be an active member in relevant communities across IT and work closely with the IT Senior Leadership team to inform them of priorities and delivery progress. Who we're looking for For this position we’re looking for: Leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and coordinate teams Relationship management, negotiation and influencing skills, with extensive experience of managing expectations and engagement with stakeholders at all levels in the organisation.? Experience of Change Management and user adoption principles and experience in an Information Security context.? Experience of Information Security and Information Assurance programme, project and portfolio management processes and practices, (both traditional and agile), including governance and risk management.? Knowledge of Information Security policies, Information Security, Information Assurance and data privacy awareness An Information Security advocate who can demonstrate a high-level understanding of the risks of non-compliance, understands PCI and how to remain current with policies.??
