About The Team The Records team is made up of a Records Manager, Deputy Records Managers, Records Coordinator & Administrators, a Renewals and Validations Coordinator and a Records Assistant. The team falls under the wider Client Services department. Members are based in London and Bath and deal with a variety of responsibilities in order to facilitate the smooth-running of the Records function. About The Role The overall purpose of the role is to assist with the administration of the EIP records database and assist with the day to day running of the department. Responsibilities Scanning of daily post into the records system Filing away all incoming physical and electronic post correspondence onto EIP’s document management system (EIPdocs) Providing administrative support to the wider Records team on an ad hoc basis Help with downloading European Patent Office and UK Intellectual Property Office post Assisting with docketing deadlines from the European Patent Office, UK Intellectual Property Office and United States Patent and Trademark Office Converting Records e-mails and sorting them into the correct categories for processing Assisting with workspace creation on EIPdocs (our document management system) Experience, Skills & Qualifications You will be comfortable working in a modern, fast-paced environment where you are given a level of autonomy to do your work.
