Interim Send Data Quality Officer - SEND

Pay Rate: £197.94 per day PAYE
Hours per week: 37 Monday – Friday, normal working hours
Role Length: This opening assignment is for 1 month
City: BRISTOL
Knowledge of safety valve is not required, just SEND experience at officer level, and experience using System-C is highly desirable.
Work on data cleansing, as part of a project to improve data quality in the SEND service. The role would purely look at cleansing data (which is quite routine) rather than casework.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertaking manual cleansing of the EYES and EHM education management systems. This will involve checking records to ascertain their accuracy, adding in missing details and removing system ‘conflicts’.
Engaging with service officers to assess and determine the accuracy of the records of the learners they case manage.
Escalating complex errors to the project team for resolution.
Contacting and working with schools, when required, to determine the accuracy of records they send via the live data feed.
Promote data cleansing best practice with service staff.
Qualifications:
Recognised qualification to a minimum of level 3 or equivalent experience.
Knowledge:
Good knowledge of all relevant current legislation e.g. SEND Code of Practice and Children and Families Act.
Experience:
Significant experience of working in health, social care or education environments and working in partnership with children, young people and their families, particularly those with special educational needs and/or disability.
Experience working with data, including ensuring the integrity of the data and cleaning bad data.
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Feel confident working with service officers and educational establishments to establish the accuracy of data.
