ASSOCIATE ENGINEER London Permanent £55 - £70k We can look at candidates at Senior Level looking to take the next step, or at candidate already working at this level who maybe see a bit of a glass ceiling ahead of them Candidates should be Chartered. It may be acceptable that a Senior Engineer who has their exam taking place in the near future would also be considered for a role- although becoming an associate will be based, in part, on successfully becoming chartered. Candidates should have at least six or seven years relevant experience within a similar environment (with similar design experience as they will be exposed to at Lucking and Clark), including: 1. Detailed design of reinforced concrete, steelwork, masonry and timber building structures 2. Design of glass structures 3. Structural steelwork connection design and detailing 4. Temporary works design 5. Letter and report writing 6. Site inspection and surveys Associates will be expected to lead projects, be client facing, have a good understanding of fee proposals and invoicing, and be able to lead a small team.
