Site Manager - Social Housing Planned Works
£50k + Car Allowance

We are working with a leading Social Housing Contractor to recruit a proactive Site Manager to deliver internal and external refurbishment projects on a number of high and low rise dwellings. The scope of works includes kitchen and bathroom schemes, window and door replacements, electrical rewires, and partial heating works.
This is a client-facing role. You will be responsible for delivering external refurbishment programs to tenanted properties through effective management of your site team, including Assistant Site Managers and Customer Service Officers.
You must have experience delivering similar projects, including external cladding, with a reputable main contractor, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, while adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
We are looking for a hands-on Site Manager with a proven track record of driving sites through effective management and maintaining site presence.
Site Manager Duties:
1. Controlling the overall direction while maintaining financial control of the contract.
2. Working in partnership with the client and client representatives to ensure high-quality service delivery.
3. Cost control and subcontractor management.
4. Implementing short, mid, and long-term programs for various work streams.
5. Carrying out onsite inspections, undertaking investigations, preparing reports, and offering solutions for continuous improvement.
6. Handing over properties on time, working to strict key performance indicators.
7. Liaising with the client and contract administrators.
8. Ensuring health and safety on the site.
9. Management and control of site administration and staff.
10. Scheduling and procurement of materials.
11. Chairing sub-contractor progress meetings.
12. Liaising with Design Teams, Client Representatives, and Consultants.
13. Programming works using MS Project.
