The School and Role
A specialist school in Rossendale is seeking a School Sports Assistant with a passion for engaging children in physical education and a desire to use sports and activities as a tool to aid motivation, confidence, and emotional resilience.
A School Sports Assistant will engage with pupils aged between 11-16 years with Social, Emotional or Mental Health needs. Classroom support would also be required; you will need to be adaptable and willing to assist in all areas of the children's learning and development.

Requirements
* Have a positive mindset to inspire children through sport.
* Have relevant experience delivering sports to young people.
* Be resilient, empathetic, patient, and able to handle challenging situations.
* Have relevant experience of working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults.
