Holgate Primary Care Network (PCN) are looking for a Pharmacy Hub Senior Administrator.

Job Summary:
To provide efficient and comprehensive administrative support in our new Pharmacy Hub and across the Primary Care Network.
The post holder will work closely with the Holgate Primary Care Network (HPCN) Pharmacy Hub team.
A requirement to communicate with a wide range of health care professionals across our PCN developing and forming professional working relationships.
To have effective communication skills both verbal and non-verbal when dealing with complex information, which may be in the format of telephone conversations, email correspondence or face to face meetings within the multidisciplinary team.
Offer general assistance to the pharmacy team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of practices within the Holgate Primary Care Network (HPCN).
The post holder must be able to work independently and autonomously taking ownership of workstreams and new projects.
Main Duties of the Job
1. To provide comprehensive and confidential administrative support in all areas associated with medicine safety and prescribing.
2. Co-ordinating pharmacist workload, assigning work from waiting lists to ledgers.
3. To support prescription teams within each practice with agreed pathways and processes.
4. Follow protocols to carry out basic calculations to assist clinical decision making.
5. To provide support with key projects working alongside the Pharmacy team. These projects include medication reviews, hospital discharges, MHRA alerts, out of stock medication, medication shortages and drug safety monitoring.
6. To provide administrative support with a variety of clinical pathways including hypertension, atrial fibrillation & DOAC monitoring, lipids, diabetes and CKD.
About Us
Holgate PCN serves a population of circa 44,000 patients residing in Middlesbrough. We work collaboratively with other partners to strengthen and support the delivery of Primary Care services, the PCN consists of 3 core GP practices Borough Road & Nunthorpe Medical Group, Linthorpe Surgery and Village Medical Practice. The PCN is led by a Clinical Director, Dr P Heywood.
We are a forward thinking, innovative PCN and have an ever-growing team of both clinical and non-clinical staff.

Qualifications
* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent

Experience
* Experience of working in a healthcare or social care setting/General Practice
* High level of accuracy in presentation of information
* Experience of using Microsoft Office

* Experience of working in a safeguarding role in a healthcare setting
* Demonstrate experience of risk assessment and recording significant events
* Experience of monitoring training compliance
* Experience of using SystmOne clinical system
