North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust is currently looking to recruit a Clinical Support Officer for the Administration Team, within Tees Community Dental Service.
The Tees Community Dental Service provides a full range of clinical dental treatment to patients throughout the Teesside area. The service also specialises in provision of oral health advice and a dental screening and survey service.

Clinical Support Officer Role
This post will be the central point of contact for Dental Epidemiology (survey) and Screening and will provide administrative support to the Dental Survey and Screening Clinical Teams as well as assisting with general anaesthetic patient administration.
The main duties of the job will include:
Answering of telephone, monitoring of emails and dissemination of messages
Booking of dental screening and survey sessions with schools and other external organisations
Processing of patient information
Inputting, updating and maintenance of data systems
Preparation of information and consent packs for sending/delivering to organisations across Teesside
Reporting of data within the Trust and to external agencies
General office duties within Tees Community Dental Service
Contributing to quality improvements and updating of local protocols
Experience:
The successful candidate should possess relevant experience of working in an administrative role. Experience of working within a healthcare setting would be an advantage. You should be able to demonstrate excellent computer skills including the ability to administer Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and Access. You should be enthusiastic, flexible, and possess excellent communication skills and have a professional outlook. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential.
